Donkey & Goat, Berkeley’s first natural winery, is celebrated for being amongst a handful of Pioneers in the Natural Wine community because they were unique for their ecological principles driving decisions in both the vineyard and the cellar when founded in 2004. They were among the first to make & name orange wines (Stone Crusher 2009), sparkling Pétillant-Naturel Wines (Lily’s Pet Nat 2011), and chillable red wines (Twinkle 2015) and continue to push boundaries and innovate while making delicious natural wines.
Donkey & Goat operates a delightful Tasting Room Thursday & Friday 5-9 PM, Saturday & Sunday 2-7 PM plus they offer an array of private gatherings from weekday team building meetings to pop-up chef wine paired dinners to holiday parties and weddings.
