Pianist Behzod Abduraimov returns following his rousing Cal Performances recital debut during the 2024–25 season. Abduraimov is admired for combining power and delicacy in performances as both an orchestral soloist and recitalist. His program is rich with underperformed gems of the repertoire, including Debussy’s Suite bergamasque, Brahms’ introspective and wistful Opus 119, and Stravinsky’s piano arrangement of music from his ballet, Petrushka.
