The Berkeley Chamber’s annual signature event, Berkeley Today and Tomorrow, brings together approximately 150–200 attendees, including leaders from the City of Berkeley, Alameda County, UC Berkeley, the Berkeley Lab, local businesses, and many of the East Bay’s largest employers. It serves as a forum to connect public, private, and academic perspectives on the most pressing economic issues shaping Berkeley’s future.
This year, we will explore the societal and economic impacts of artificial intelligence on our local economy, including remarks by Trelynd Bradley, the Deputy Director for Innovation and Technology at the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), a keynote address by Chris Nicholson, Global Affairs Team at OpenAI, and a panel discussion with the following Berkeley business leaders: Stephen McKinley, Co-Founder & COO, Ambi Robotics
Hitesh Kenjale, CEO & Co-founder, VoiceBit
Yi Ng, CEO & Founder, Curiosities AI
Adam Schieferecke, Ph.D., Co-Founder & Head of Research, Vivere Oncotherapies
