The Freight's One Song All Night!
We are looking forward to seeing you Sunday, October 25 for the third installment of The Freight’s One Song All Night series, wherein five local artists reimagine one iconic song in completely different ways.
We began this series in October with Prince’s 1986 hit “Kiss”. You can see/hear Hannah Mayree’s hypnotic rendering of it on The Freight's stage here. Our second iteration featured the “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” Hank Williams's archetypal heartbreak ballad.
This upcoming show focuses on an iconic Bay Area-recorded classic: Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams." You will hear five completely different reimaginations, by Evie Ladin's MoToR/dance, Terrence Brewer, Rip Room, Adrienne Shamszad, and MeloDious.
As always, we'll begin the evening by listening to the original, digging a little into the origin story, and touching on famous covers over the years.
See you there!
