Program: 
Under the direction of French Algerian choreographer Hervé Koubi, 17 dancers from around the world unite to defy gravity in Sol Invictus. The dancers blend contemporary dance, hip-hop, and martial arts, creating a visual language like no other. As they hurl themselves through the air in high-flying arcs and spins, the dancers come to embody Koubi’s profound message: that despite the fractures of the world, community is humanity’s saving grace. Sol Invictus is propelled by a driving, cinematic score featuring compositions by Mikael Karlsson and Maxime Bodson, woven together with the iconic minimalism of Steve Reich.
