Grapevine Wine Tasting : Malbec

For our next tasting, we will taste wines from another family of great reds – Malbec. Although Malbec is most associated with the Mendoza vineyards of Argentina, it is, in fact, grown in vineyards around the world (France, Italy, Australia, Chile, USA). Bring a bottle of your favorite or one you would like to try, and discover others as we share our opinions in a blind tasting of this interesting red.

These tastings follow a familiar format. Each person (not each couple) brings a bottle of the featured wine to the tasting. Wine glasses, tableware, bread, cheese and wine scoring sheets are provided by the Club in exchange for a fee of $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Attendees are seated at tables of 5 – 6 people. You are welcome to specify if you wish to sit with friends, and we will try to accommodate your request.

Please remember to bring a bottle of Malbec for each person in your party!
