Join us on Saturday, May 24, 2025, for an energetic evening of Brazilian forró music with Khalifa do Accordion & Friends at Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center. Doors open at 7:30 PM, followed by a beginner-friendly forró dance lesson at 8:00 PM, and the live performance kicks off at 8:30 PM. Khalifa Snyder, known as Khalifa do Accordion, is a master accordionist from northeastern Brazil, celebrated for his dynamic stage presence and musical versatility.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, and $15 for students with valid ID (available at the door only).This is an all-ages event, and kids 12 and under attend for free.
