UC JAZZ ENSEMBLES

For the past 57 years, UC Jazz has offered ensemble training and performing experience to students on the UC Berkeley campus. Each year we organize up to 12 ensembles of different levels all of which are coached by some of the best musicians in the Bay Area. At the Freight we present our 3 most advanced ensembles performing a wide variety of jazz styles from traditional to modern.
