Water is Sacred

“Water is Sacred” is a juried photography exhibition that explores the power of water in its various forms and how that power is manifested in our diverse environments. Photographer Susanna (Suzun) Lucia Lamaina will be our guest juror/curator. From rain to rivers to floods, moisture to lakes and oceans, water is a powerful force affecting the planet. It nurtures our gardens and devastates our lives when there’s a drought. It’s the basis of all life. We invite photographers to submit photographs that examine the myriad impacts of water. From the presence of water to its absence. Consider a broad spectrum of subject matter, such as extreme weather and climate changes, access to clean drinking water and everyday activities like bathing and doing laundry. This exhibition will explore the dynamics of water as sacred and its impact on our lives.
